Alex is considered one of the nation’s most important deal-makers and integrity thought-leaders in the country. He is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and lawyer. As Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate tax planning. He also sits on the board of PwC’s Southeast Asia Regional Consulting practice.
Alex is Chairman of the well-respected Integrity Initiative of the Makati business Club and European Chamber of Commerce. He chairs the Educated Marginalized Entrepreneurs Resource Generation (EMERGE) program, an initiative of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) to fund and help selected entrepreneurs become successful. He is also a high-profile columnist for the The Philippine STAR, the nation’s leading print and digital journal.
